David Martinez serves as the Scottsdale Store Manager, where he leads daily operations with a focus on efficiency, team development, and exceptional customer service. In his role, he oversees counter sales, warehouse operations, and inventory management, while also guiding and mentoring staff to maintain high performance and service standards.

With approximately 24 years of professional experience, David brings a diverse background spanning fine dining hospitality, specialty food distribution, and lighting and energy solutions. His career began in the culinary world, where he spent 14 years working in Michelin-starred restaurants in roles such as Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, and Chef. He later transitioned into specialty food distribution, where he spent six years as a Sales and Account Manager specializing in premium meats, cheeses, and dairy products.

Over the past four years, David has expanded his expertise into the lighting and energy sector, contributing to complex sales and project initiatives, including LED retrofit and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects. Notably, he played a role in the successful completion of projects valued at $400,000 and $2.8 million.

David’s core strengths include operations management, inventory control, team leadership, supply chain coordination, and sales support. He also brings strong project coordination skills, particularly in lighting and energy solutions.

He completed formal culinary training at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and has continued to build his expertise through professional development in operations, sales, and project management.

Outside of work, David is a dedicated husband and father. He enjoys spending time at the gym, exploring HAM radio, and (by his own admission) “pretending” to play the guitar.
