As President of the company, Cory Schneider leads the charge in driving sales initiatives, utilizing 15 years of experience in the lighting industry. Cory’s career began in 2005 as a sales engineer for NSG America, a Japanese Glass Manufacturer. This position provided him with knowledge of fiber optic components and skills in sales which laid the groundwork for a career marked by deep technical expertise and a penchant for salesmanship.
In 2008, Cory transitioned to Lighting Unlimited. Starting in the warehouse, he quickly ascended through the ranks, taking on diverse roles ranging from driver to warehouse manager and gaining experience across departments, from purchasing to accounting.
A graduate in Optical Engineering from the University of Arizona, Cory’s academic background complements his practical knowledge, providing a unique perspective in the field.
Cory’s accomplishments and dedication to excellence in the lighting industry have earned him accolades, including the esteemed LC designation from NCQLP, as well as LS1 and LS2 certifications from NAILD. He was also recognized in the “40 under 40” list by NAILD, a testament to his exceptional leadership and impact on the industry.
Actively engaged in professional associations, Cory’s commitment to the field is further underscored by his involvement in NAILD, where he served as President in 2018. He also played a pivotal role as Vice President for IES Phoenix from 2017 to 2019 and held a position as a Board Member for the Electric League of AZ.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Cory finds fulfillment in adventure and travel. Having visited over 35 countries, he embraces new cultures and experiences with a global lens, adding a global perspective to his leadership style.
